With the decision of minister of Rural Growth and Foods

Mr. Savas Tsjtoyridis, were approved private investment drawings were approved for 182 works in the Completed Program of Growth of Rural Space (O.P.A.A.H.) total budget 35.126.444 Euros and public expense 21.117.323 Euros.
The work concern the protection of the most economically needful regions of country.
The public expense will cover from 50% up to 100% of total cost of investment, depending on the type and the administrative region of country in which belongs the region of intervention.

Chalk-lines of a total of 1,03 trillions GRD

will be allocated until to 2006 for the modernisation of agricultural exploitations and the upgrade of infrastructures of countryside via the program "Rural Growth - Reconstruction of Countryside". More specifically, the 1st axis concerns in the completed interventions in level of rural exploitation and will absorb 826,866 billions of Euros.
For the improvement of age-related composition of rural population, will be absorbed 291,208 billions of Euros.
Sum 81,195 billions of Euros will be been disposed for the improvement of support mechanisms and briefing of rural population with the exploitation of new technologies.
Chalk-lines of a total of 37,103 billions of euros will be allocated for interventions on agricultural products.
For the growth and protection of natural resources and environment will be been disposed 294,617 billions of Euros, while for the completed programs of growth of rural space, that constitute the seventh axis, 581,971 billions of Euros are going to be spent.

With decision of Undersecretary of Rural Growth and Foods

Mr. Alexandros Kontos, are determined additional metres for the import of Cerial Fruits for human consumption and for forage, that aims in the protection of consumer, plants and environment.
With regard to the cerials that are intended for human consumption, is forecasted control of pesticides remains as well as change in the process of sampling.
With regard to the imported cerials for the diet of animals, more controls are forecasted for each charge for the conformity with the effect measures.
The controls concern the undesirable substances, as mycotoxins, dioxins, heavy metals, remains of pesticides but also the genetically modified fruits and their botanic cleanliness.

Thus the Administration plans to propose the distribution of dividend for 2003 at of €0,036, increased at 71% compared to the previous year.
For 2004 the group is expecting high rythms of growth and positive results that are expected to be realised with the further growth of its international commercial network and with the contracting of new strategic alliances so much in domestic as well as in international level.
